[...] we note the monument that commemorates Santiago García Díaz—in the square that bears his name—characterised as Charlot (2003), whose authorship is attributed to Manolo González. The work represents two images of this man. In the foreground, it shows his face as a bust; behind, we perceive him full-length dressed as Charles Chaplin—framed as if it were a mirror—capturing his other self, with which he was popularly identified and known.
