[...] at the Mapfre Guanarteme Foundation Headquarters, the island's sculptor Manuel González offers us a large bronze piece, known as the Atlante del Guiniguada, whose tormented figure seems to be carrying the weight of today's problems of society on its shoulders, with a gesture displaying both power and desperation, with profound expressionist traits. This sculpture forms part of the fountain that stands in front of the cultural hall of this society, which was inaugurated in 1992.
