Tenerife born painter Fernando Álamo, the 2014 award winner at the Canarias de Bellas Artes, is the author of this 470 square metre mural, set in the urban landscape along calle Olof Palme, as part of the regeneration programme in the area.

Fernando Álamo has created an image of two enormous roses, that aims to reflect the pictorical language and part of the creative process of the painter over the last 10 years. He was helped on this project by fellow artists Davinia Jiménez and Raúl Artiles, and the Palmcanarias paints company, which provided materials.
