Rabie El Addouni was born in 1981 in the Moroccan city of Meknes and from a very young age stood out as a versatile artist, especially as a painter. His plastic art is present on walls and stages throughout the country thanks to his participation in various events and concerts. He is considered by many to be the greatest exponent of Maghreb graffiti, with a wide variety of styles, standing out in the elegant handling of Arabic typography. In 2010 he had the opportunity to visit Dakar and participate in the World Festival of Black Arts where he met the Mizerables Graff collective.

This mural commissioned by Casa África is located within the Humanities Campus of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. As noted on the website miromuros.com, urban legend has it that these are the eyes of Angelina Jolie.
