Oliver Path

This path, located north of the Salamanca neighbourhood, sometimes runs parallel and sometimes over the course of the Aceite ravine, today vaulted in this area under Horacio Nelson street.

The destination of this path, at the end of the 19th century, was to enter these surroundings near an excellent garden that existed there and of which some magnificent tree specimens still remain. Its final goal was to reach the upper part of the city called Las Colinas, in the foothills of the Las Mesas mountain. 

Already into the 20th century, around 1920, the Oliver family, owners of an extraordinary estate in that sector, built an Anglo-Saxon style mansion which today is the headquarters of a prestigious private club that has preserved the name of the former owners and which also gives its name to the path that runs in front of it.
