MAPPING - Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Mapping Canarias is a cultural project promoted by the Biblioteca de Canarias: an interactive digital resource that uses geolocation to rediscover the past and present of Canary municipalities. This map of Santa Cruz de Tenerife gathers points of interest of history, art, heritage and memory, prepared by the public libraries of each territory.

The Mapping Santa Cruz de Tenerife project has been devised and developed by the professionals of the State Public Library in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. From this cultural institution it has achieved the goal of gather and adapt a large amount of information from a wide variety of sources, to create a valuable resource for all those interested in the history and art of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A single map that concentrates all the complexity of a city with more than 500 years of experience and with an ever-changing present.
