The sculpture of Néstor Álamo is located between the Cathedral and the Casa de Colón Museum, in Vegueta. It was carved in 2003 by Ana Luisa Benítez, and represents a tribute on the part of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to one of the island's most representative folkloric figures.
