Salvador Gil fell in love with his sculpture at the very moment of imagining it. Large iron roots, a sculpture that gives meaning to the reality of the El Sebadal Industrial Estate.

Salvador Gil invites, with his personal way of perceiving, to create infinite paths, all of them valid. For this sculpture, Roots , he recycles old iron sheets and scraps, remnants of the port and El Sebadal's activity. These elements are the pieces which, like a puzzle and through his particular constructivism, he combines to achieve the goal: a five-metre-high iron sculpture shaped like impressive roots, roots that resist the elements, that rise scrutinising the sky to continue nourishing the life of work in El Sebadal.

The sculpture was made with the collaboration of the students of the final welding course at the FEMEPA Training Centre.
