This sculpture is a tribute to justice, with its author choosing the figure of Themis, from Greek mythology, as the personification of the divine right to law.

Globally considered as such, the work by this artist has become an example of art, not only in transformation, but also the result of the sense of complexity of having practically endless ways ahead of us, with the conscience of having a rich sense of the past we don't wish to abandon. This conscience is the most valuable fruit of what has become known as post-modern style, which elsewhere has come through as a new display of modernity itself. This doesn't mean that Emperor Leopoldo is post modern as such: his quest for freedom doesn't tie him down to any specific trend, even though he is able to make the most of what he foresees as releasing and enriching his creative actions. A sign of this freedom is his use of neon in some of his works, or delving into other kinds of spacial explorations, as well as a type of steel or bronze sculpture used to carry on with the great tradition developed throughout the 20th century, which has produced such extraordinary results.
