Residential Building at the Corner of Costa and Grijalba Streets with Jesús y María

In the heart of the Barrio de los Hoteles, surrounded by eclectic style buildings and with another rationalist one opposite, we find this example of contemporary architecture designed in 1979 by architect Manuel F. García Gómez. 

It is a building occupying a corner plot and, with appropriate naturalness, is resolved through a balanced distribution of its openings, terraces and porch, all enclosed by tall folding wooden shutters, a resource of local tradition that contrasts with the characteristic “modern” style of the building.

The building was completed in 1982.
