Vistabella Viewpoint

Its very name indicates what kind of views we can appreciate from its location. The Vistabella viewpoint is located in the upper area of the city, almost on the municipal boundary with La Laguna. It is accessed via the old main road that connected the city with the interior of the island.  

The viewpoint overlooks Santa Cruz offering one of the best and most complete views of the city. The site underwent significant work in 2005 by the City Council, focusing at that time on the remodelling of the exterior area of the car parks, the repair and waterproofing of the planters, installation of benches and designer bins, installation of new public lighting through designer street lamps, as well as the placement of new tubular stainless steel railings in the upper entrance area, on the staircases, and in the lower area of the viewpoint.

The various constructions that have been carried out around it have erased much of the beauty that this place once had. Despite this, it still retains its spectacular panoramic views that cover a wide spectrum of the city of Santa Cruz.
