The Library and Documentation Centre of the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) is a free access service available to researchers, students or art enthusiasts, with a bibliographic and documentary collection of more than 60,000 records, including exhibition catalogues, essay and monographic books, periodical publications, audiovisual documents and electronic resources, special collections, etc., covering all facets of the art world, including, among others, cinema, comics or design.

Furthermore, the BCD is a key element for research work related to the notion of tricontinentality, which defines the programme criteria of the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno itself. Hence the prominence of specific publications on art developed in the three continents (Africa, Europe, America), which define the geographical and cultural genealogy of the Canary Islands.
