Traditional houses on La Florida street in San Roque

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria · Category: Architecture · Subcategory: Civil architecture · Year: S. XIX

These two houses of traditional Canarian typology were built at the beginning of the 19th century in the popular San Roque neighbourhood.

They are domestic buildings that present a uniform image, where a huge curved façade shows us six openings framed in masonry, with projections at the base of the jambs of the access doors. Four basalt stone gargoyles complete the elevation.
