Group of traditional buildings in San Lorenzo

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria · Category: Architecture · Subcategory: Civil architecture · Year: S. XVIII

This group of traditional buildings, possibly erected in the 18th century on the Higuerita road in the San Lorenzo neighbourhood, forms a highly unified ensemble.

Located in a clearly agricultural environment, the group consists of a series of single-bay, single-storey buildings with pitched tile roofs. In some cases there is a porch supported by wooden posts. The buildings are constructed with ashlar and mortar or with stone slabs. Their openings are set in stonework.
