This is the first public sculpture by Juan José Gil, whose artistic career has so far followed the path of painting. Gil has been primarily a painter, although he has always acknowledged the great influence that architecture, music and, above all, poetry have had on his work, which, as he himself has stated on many occasions, is what groups the world of art under the common denominator of language. On this occasion, Juan José Gil has designed a sculpture composed of fourteen modules or coloured hoops intertwined, attached to a large concrete cube. The modules have been made from 4-millimetre thick corten steel, 350 millimetres wide and 100 millimetres thick. The length varies between 2,000 and 1,010 millimetres and the elements are argon gas welded and have been properly reinforced with their own anchors for installation on the concrete base. The base itself measures 4 metres high by 1.70 and 1.70 metres on each side.
