Las Palmas de Gran Canaria · Category: Literature · Subcategory: Literary fragments · Year: 2020 · Authors: José Luis Correa

The driver dropped me off at the Nautical Club, from there I only had to cross the bridge by the petrol station to reach my destination.
If a house with two doors is hard to guard, the Coño’s was simply impossible. A hideous and clumsy ten-storey building, built in Franco’s times, when the old tyrant insisted on encouraging large families and needed a place to house them...”
