Néstor Álamo (1906-1994). An essay writer and historian. His work as a folkloric expert is well known. As well as his many historical works, he wrote theatrical works and an endless amount of press articles. Some of his works include Para la historia de Guía de Gran Canaria, El sarao y su recuerdo o Thenesoya Vidina y más tradiciones.
