Noir novel route: 03. The Plaza de Santa Ana
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria · Category: Routes · Subcategory: Noir novel route
Meanwhile, Lupescu had gone out to have a look around the town. He'd been along to the cathedral and the square in front of it. He'd sat down on one of the benches, near to one of the bronze dog statues, and had watched the pigeons fluttering about. Once sat there, his mind turned to Anatol. He supposed he had tried to climb on the back of one of the dogs, or maybe chased the pigeons around, scaring them away just for the fun of seeing them flying off in circles to then drop back down when he wasn't watching. If everything turned out all right, if work came off as it was meant to, if the treatment worked as it should, and if Diego and his bosses played fair with him and nothing went wrong, he would go back to that square with Anatol when he was fully recovered. He decided on the spot, there and then. If Anatol got better, he would bring him to the city and that very square of Santa Ana, to play with the bronze dogs and upset the pigeons.
