Casa Corbella

This building located on Imeldo Serís street, very close to the Guimerá theatre, was a commission by the developer Agustín Corbella to the architect Manuel de Cámara to design his private residence. Cámara drafted the plans at the end of 1881 under the premises of a stylistic change between classicism and eclecticism.

One can appreciate a certain austerity and elegance in the arrangement of the openings on the façade, along with restrained ornamentation through the use of galloons, scrolls and other elements, all made of stone, placed above the lintels of the openings.
