This large house located opposite the entrance of the church of La Concepción is one of the few remaining examples of a traditional house in Santa Cruz. It was built in the 18th century and later renovated in 1857 by Manuel de Oraá. Except for its original roof of tiles of Mudéjar tradition, it retains all the elements of the islands' construction tradition. The harmony of its openings (large doors and windows) and the detail of the oculus with stained glass on the façade facing the church stand out. Inside, as was customary in this type of construction, a central courtyard distributes the rooms on the lower floor, and on the upper floor, a polished gallery runs around its entire perimeter.
