The Foundation for the Promotion and Study of Narrative in Images (Fundación Cine+Cómics) is a private entity that seeks to defend the cultural values intrinsic to storytelling in panels through its collections and the celebration of various events (Tenerife Comic Convention, academic congresses...). Its main purpose is the promotion and encouragement of research into the world of narrative in images in all its formats, especially productions made in the Canary Islands, with great interest in the study of animated film, comics, and graphic novels in all their expressions.

The entity was founded in October 2018 and its headquarters have been located since December 2025 at 35 San Clemente Street, occupying several floors of a building. Here are distributed the Foundation's offices, those of the publishing house Ediciones Idea, a cinema room and, most importantly, a magnificent collection of comics. The Foundation's comic library is one of its most ambitious projects, as it holds more than 140,000 different copies and around 5,000 reference works, making it the largest specialised comic library in Spain.

The Cine+Cómics Foundation has opened its doors as a magnificent space for study and dissemination capable of organising prominent events in the field of graphic culture and animated film.
