Eduardo Benítez Inglott (1877-1956). He stood out as a journalist, being director of La Provincia from 1921 to 1928 and from 1940 to 1952. He was private secretary to several mayors and held the secretaryship of Leopoldo Matos y Massieu when he was Minister of Labour. Among his works, Historia de sesenta años o Anotaciones a los viajes del muy eminente José de Viera y Clavijo.
