The Gran Canaria Football Stadium, covering 65,000 m2 and with a capacity for 31,250 spectators, is where the Unión Deportiva Las Palmas plays its home games in the Spanish Football League (LFP). The ground also has different club facilities, including the museum and the Piomanía club shop, which are places not to be missed for all keen football fans. 

On either side of the football pitch are the North and South Towers, which will provide office space, along with a cafeteria or museum, both for the UD Las Palmas itself and the local government Sports Institute of Gran Canaria.

The stadium is the work of architect Pedro Medina, and was built in 2003 to replace the historical Estadio Insular football stadium, which has been turned into a public sports park.
