In 1969 the architects Juan Fernández de Villalta Carrilla and Enrique Rumeu de Armas developed the project for this building, intended for housing, commercial premises and offices for the developer Luis Acuña Dorta.

Above two commercial ground floors with large transparency due to their large windows, four floors and an attic intended for housing rise.

The exterior compositional solution of the building is achieved through alternating horizontal bands: light ones by the concrete, dark ones by the windows and the curious wooden slats that protect them. The façade interrupts its rhythm through vertical setbacks that give it relief and originality.

The interior has an unusual spatial fluidity, which creates different environments that are not imagined from the outside.

The building, completed in 1973 and located in an area of special urban relevance, achieves a very successful volume conjunction, where a basic module is repeated in different sequences to achieve a regular serialisation.
