The Ideal Cinema was a cinema, now disappeared, that was located in the upper part of San Francisco Javier street; it is therefore another of the many cinemas that the El Toscal neighbourhood had. 

Inaugurated as an open-air cinema on 4 August 1946, it remained so throughout its history until its disappearance in the 1980s, when it was demolished.

It was owned by the Baeza Márquez brothers and Celedonio Pérez. Behind a façade with regionalist touches was a huge block courtyard with folding wooden seats that served as an open-air projection room. The neighbours of the adjoining buildings could comfortably watch the screenings from their respective flats. In its last years of life, already without screenings, this space also served as an improvised basketball court.
