In a portico at the lower part of the staircase of the church square of La Cruz del Señor, the City Council, at the initiative of the neighbourhood population, carried out an artistic intervention in a space that until then was abandoned and in poor condition.

The intervention to aesthetically improve the place was carried out in mid-2025, when an artistic mural was made using the broken tiles technique.

The work, whose design was chosen in collaboration with the neighbours, is composed of deteriorated tiles. Against a splendid white background, softly coloured graffiti wings are displayed.

The artistic mural functions as a transformative work of a previously deteriorated space which, after its installation, has become an aesthetic reference for social cohesion, citizen participation and urban improvement.
