This building, erected for the Ojeda family in the area of the Pueblo Canario, was designed by the architect Secundino Zuazo in 1950.

It is a magnificent example of neo-Canarian architecture in two storeys with one dwelling per floor. The construction has two bays, hipped roofs and a series of recesses and projections that give it some volumetric play. Its main façade element is the long wooden Canarian balcony that closes a cantilevered terrace on the east side and which, in its development, occupies part of the corner. 

Zuazo was an architect with considerable influence in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Here, in this building, we find one of his best projects in terms of vernacular-style architecture, an aesthetic and constructive style that was very common during the mid-20th century in all regions of Spain.
