Traditional house at 64 San José promenade

Significant building of traditional Canarian character located in one of the upper neighbourhoods of the city. Possibly built at the end of the 18th century, the domestic-scale house presents itself as a large building with wide openings in the façade framed in masonry and sash windows on the upper floor. There, the central one, with drip mouldings above the lintel, has an interesting wooden interlaced balcony over the large central ground floor opening.

A projecting cornice at the height of the parapet is established between two lateral pilasters. It also has four stone gargoyles.

Its elegant appearance, typical of popular constructive wisdom, defines the setting and urban layout of the area, giving it a historically relevant prestige.
