[...] The Casa de Úrsula Quintana has its main register at calle Muro, and came across as the finest example of Manuel de Ponce de León's works, displaying his most academic side, with great correction and ornamental style submitting to the cultured language of the time. In this way, Ponce drafted a long frontispiece which fitted in alongside the area's urban style, set out by Esteban de la Torre.

The façade «stretched out symetrically with a central section jutting out alongside its lateral side buidlings. This central section is covered by a large triumphal arch adorned all round by stone rosettes and with a double volute corbel. Under this, from top to bottom, are: the family coat of arms surrounded by a sequence of flowers, an oak balcony —accessed by three semicircular openings at the top with large blue stone moldings set inwards—, and the main door with long windows. The great arch is crowned by a triangular frontis, serving as a cornice, finished off by a triangular cresting. The long side buildings are symmetrical. On the lower floor are the doors, which are topped by semicircular arches surrounded by stone listels. The noble floor is taken up by low arched windows covered by triangular shaped frontises. The floors are separated by an ornamental frieze with rectangular slate plaques. At the top of both of these is a ballustrade lined with a stone base.» (Un artista para una ciudad y una época.
