In Tafira Alta, in one of the most exclusive areas on the outskirts of the city, we find this building designed in 2008 by architect José Manuel Sosa.

The house adapts to a two-level terrain: below, the pool and porch, both semi-buried, separated from the road by a slope of very dense vegetation; above, the house rests on the land like a folded sheet, in a zigzag.
The facade is closed off by glass or lattices: wooden in the vents, concrete in the courtyards. The exterior is modulated with a strange approximately rectangular contour with parallel bands of different heights, of free organisation, pierced by small gardens through which light enters and framing views of the Bandama volcano. The interior is the superposition of spaces resulting from these folds. Tubular, linear places, all lit from one or two of their ends. 

An excellent combination of concrete, glass, volcanic stone, wood and vegetation. Materials that make up this interesting architectural work completed in 2011.
