Mural of CEIP García Escámez

Along the perimeter wall that encloses the García Escámez infant and primary education school (CEIP) there is an extensive mural created at the end of 2018 by the artists Federica Furelli and Luis Sánchez.

The work reflected the theme chosen by the school’s educational community for the artistic intervention, which was none other than the Canarian flora and fauna. The piece depicts the figures and names, both popular and scientific, of various elements characteristic of our natural heritage. 

The mural extends over forty-seven square metres of the school’s enclosure. Its varied elements and soft colours noticeably enhance the entire urban landscape of the area.
