Hacienda Acialcázar

Situated in a rural environment, this agricultural estate house of clear traditional Canarian character was built on land called “La Data de Acialcázar” or “La Concepción”, granted in 1778 and exploited as a place dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards and wine production.  The construction of the house was carried out between 1812 and 1815 at the initiative of Manuel de Llarena y Calderón, Marquis of Acialcázar and Torrehermosa. 

The building, which is accessed from a garden of regular layout, consists of two clearly differentiated parts. The first has a square plan defined by a perimeter bay and a beautiful gallery develops on the upper floor around a central courtyard; the rooms, of various sizes, are arranged according to two central symmetries; it has pitched tile roofs. The other part houses the service area with an attached "L" shaped plan and open to a secondary courtyard. Its compositional harmony stands out, given by the regular arrangement of openings.

The complex is also known as "Casa Pinto".
