La Palmita

Manor house built in the 18th century as an agricultural estate and which today forms part of the facilities of the ULPGC University Campus.

The building has one and two storeys, with an "L"-shaped plan formed by several bays, with two- and four-sided tiled roofs. All the bays have independent access. The body with its south elevation in gable and the upper floor volume with access from an external staircase and a covered gallery on the upper floor supported by wooden posts stand out. The lintelled openings of various sizes are framed in stone. 

It is a good example of traditional Canarian architecture that was restored in 1996 for various cultural uses (exhibition hall and activity centre) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
