To the Health of Ofra

On the façade of the Health Centre in the Ofra neighbourhood, the urban graphic artists Laura Perera, Paula Calavera, Ithaisa Pérez, Ione Domínguez, Paco Marrero and Luismi Sánchez created in May 2015 a huge mural visible from almost every angle of Avenida Príncipes de España.

Titled To the Health of Ofra , the artists invite us, across nearly a thousand square metres of façades, to lead a healthy life. They do so through soft colours and suggestive lines. We see children pedalling on an orange peel, canoeists navigating on blood orange pulp and other refreshing images related to activities that improve our daily life.   

The mural was commissioned by the Servicio Canario de Salud (Canary Islands Health Service) to the artists for their Ofra centre.
