This sculpture is the work of the artist Igor Mitoraj (1944-2014). It was made in 1993 for the II Street Sculpture Exhibition, being located in the Plaza del Teatro Guimerá.

Per Adriano is made of bronze and represents a human face of perfect proportions and features. The work does not rest directly on the ground, but is supported on a prism and another irregular base. The face, not being fully developed and missing pieces, suggests a state of alterability that gives meaning to the piece itself. It produces the effect of an unfinished work through which the façade of the Teatro Guimerá, a building immediately placed behind it, is introduced.
