One of the major printing publishers in Las Palmas during the Restoration period. It was operating from 1879, having been acquired by Gregorio Chil y Naranjo to print his Estudios históricos, climatológicos y patológicos de las islas Canarias . From these workshops also came the newspaper El Liberal , active between 1883 and 1890. 

During its existence, the company had its workshop first at Calle de Santa Bárbara number 19, and later, in 1884, it moved to Calle de Enmedio number 1. Its managers were Joviano Dumpiérrez, Manuel Rodríguez Vallejo, and from 1899 Domingo Solís Lorenzo, until it ceased operations in the last years of the first decade of the 20th century.
