This impressive industrial building, located within the premises of the Refinery, demonstrates the skill of architect José Blasco in tackling industrial-use buildings.

The structure of this warehouse was started in 1957 and completed two years later. It is not a well-known construction to the general public, as it is out of public view, but it deserves to be highlighted for its constructive and aesthetic values.

The complex section consists of five naves, a central one of greater height and the remaining lateral ones with a gallery opening onto the main body. Small rooms arranged like chapels have been placed between the porticoes. This general arrangement recalls, by its elements, a cathedral-like construction with five naves. 

Architect José Blasco, the main manager of the technical procedures for the installation of the Refinery in Santa Cruz, designed this interesting building following a trend in Spanish architecture widely used during the 1950s, combining various elements of the construction tradition with others that were very innovative and aesthetically attractive.
