Residential Building on Jesús Nazareno Street

Designed in 1990 by architects Felipe Artengo, Fernando Martín Menis and Jose María Rodríguez-Pastrana, this building occupies a narrow plot between Jesús Nazareno and San Clemente streets, very close to Ireneo González square. 

The main façade faces Jesús Nazareno and features a ground floor that shares a commercial premises, a garage and the building entrance, the latter two enclosed by interesting wooden panels. Above this, the four dwellings rise, one per floor, where metal sheet latticework protects large windows. The rest of the façade is combined with excellent treated stone that gives the whole a great appearance.

Inside, the spaces are very well utilised through intelligent internal distribution, also featuring curious functional elements that unfold both in the common areas of entrances and staircases, as well as in each of the four proposed dwellings.

It is a pity that the building, completed in 1992, does not stand out enough due to being located on such a narrow street and next to a construction site abandoned for years and left half-built.
