This is one of the first works created by the architect duo Javier Díaz-Llanos - Vicente Saavedra and, from then on, the characteristic hallmark they would develop throughout their long professional career was clear: great interest in constructive aspects, measured use of materials and a tireless search for constructive and environmental rationality. 

The project for this private house, located in a quiet residential area, was drafted in 1961 for the landowner Enrique W. Hintz. 

On the exterior of the house, facing the street, we only see a natural San Andrés stone wall and an interesting metal grille. Inside, there is a two-storey L-shaped construction, open to a garden to which the dining room and living room open through a porch. The bedrooms are on the upper floor.

This is an example of excellent architecture; sober, elegant and where the basic materials (concrete, stone and wood) relate effectively with carefully tended vegetation.
