The headquarters of the Empresa Mixta de Aguas de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (EMMASA), located on Comodoro Rolín Street, was designed by architects José Ángel Domínguez Amadón and Francisco Artego Rufino at the turn of the new millennium.

The work is a modular box volume that maintains formal order on its main façade, softening the internal and external distribution through the intelligent use of laminated glass and double glazing on the façades.

The complex, always within its neat geometry and with its careful construction details, obtained, for transcending its mere functional utility and for its expressive architectural image, a Special Mention in the 10th Edition of the Oraá Awards (2000-2001) for regional architecture.
