Casa Martín Arnay (Emblematic Hotel F24)

This building, today converted into a hotel, was designed in 1927 by the architect Domingo Pisaca as two independent houses for the owner José Martín Arnay.

It is located on the corner formed by San Vicente Ferrer and Santa Rosa de Lima streets; the façades on both streets are almost identical; only the difference in length causes changes in some forms, although the elements are repeated. 

The two houses originally projected were located on each of the floors of the building and both were accessed through a single entrance on San Vicente Ferrer street. Inside, a central corridor served as a distributor of spaces and rooms. The service area was arranged at the junction of the party walls with its own patio. The rest of the interior rooms were ventilated and lit by another larger patio. 

Recently the building has undergone extensive renovation and updating to convert it into a hotel, preserving part of the original carpentry and flooring.
