Here we have the first work built on the Rambla that clearly combined the typology of an international modern style house with elements of traditional Canarian architecture.

The project was carried out by the architect José Enrique Marrero Regalado in 1933 for the owner Maximino Acea Perdomo, president of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife (Island Council of Tenerife) at that time, who would commission Marrero two years later to design the headquarters of the island institution.

The chalet, with three floors, presents a very interesting play of volumes. On the ground floor, there is a main entrance on the right side crowned by a baroque volute finial. From here begins the staircase leading to the curious curved volume of the first floor, the access point to the house. A tower-lookout, with a colonnade at the corners and a hipped roof, crowns the entire ensemble. The horizontal planes are found in the large terraces and in the wooden balconies covered by tiled eaves, which provide the local touch.

Inside, the architect's magnificent design work on the furniture stands out, as well as the careful distribution of spaces that gives us a curious sensation of fictitious spaciousness.
