Work contributed in 1973 by the Swiss artist Gottfried Honegger (1917-2016) for the I Exhibition of Street Sculpture in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This Homage to Pascal , made of concrete, is an icon of constructed art within the trends of modular schematism. With its prismatic pillar formed by the superposition of unequal parallelepipeds, it alludes to the rational mathematical Pascalian nature of its title. It is a rational type sculpture, vertical and spatially infinite, which becomes a meditation on the mystery of space and time.
