This sculpture was made in 1973 by the Basque artist Néstor Basterrechea (1924-2014) for the I Exhibition of Sculpture in the Street.

Initially located at the Colegio de Arquitectos de Canarias, it is now found in the hall of the Municipal Library, based at the TEA.

Formed by concavities in oak wood that generate a very elaborate and upright anthropomorphic figure, its name refers to a genius or spirit from Basque mythology.
