Work created by the Scottish artist Eduardo Paolozzi (1924-2005) for the I International Street Sculpture Exhibition of 1973.

Located in the heart of Garceda Sanabria park, the work is developed through the repetition of hexagonal prefabricated concrete modules with tectonic assembly. With this work, the artist manages to represent everyday reality, apparently insignificant, using casuistry and irony, within what could be called the essence of the Pop spirit.

Traditional sculpture was intended to sacralise the human figure, represent it or serve as a commemoration of feats. With contemporary sculpture, the work has extended a hand to the person to establish coexistence. If before sculptures were for contemplation and for the use of pigeons, now and in this specific case, it is intended for the enjoyment of childhood, and the chosen location is ideal for this use. For years, this sculpture has brought enjoyment to several generations of children who have not stopped climbing and sitting on it.
