This work by artist Alberto Sánchez (1895-1962) was created in 1956. It was part of the I Exhibition of Street Sculpture in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, held in 1973. The sculpture was located in the square of the Colegio de Arquitectos de Canarias (Canary Islands Architects' Association), before being moved inside this building.

Made of bronze, it is a stylised abstraction of a woman crowned by a six-pointed star. It was created under the premises of a highly poetic language, as befits one of the great pioneers of avant-garde art.
