Spanish artist Gustavo Torner created this work in 1973 for the I Exhibition of Street Sculpture. Located in a corner of Parque García Sanabria, very close to the Garden of Aromatic Plants and Olive Trees, its tall white walls form a mysterious labyrinth which, once inside, leads us through a clear path of planes with a very spatial projection. Based on linear purity, it provides us with a function of order and grace. Its panels of immaculate white invite various graffiti and its intricate path is an ideal hideout for activities, not always edifying.

The work presents itself as a very essentialist option in geometry and particular in materials: white concrete for the twenty-two vertical modules with a smooth surface in L shape, set on a curious pavement of volcanic slag. 

This aesthetic open labyrinth pays homage to Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, one of the most outstanding authors of 20th-century world literature.
