Casa Burgada

This single-family house with an upper floor between party walls was designed by the architect Antonio Pintor in 1897 for the owner Magdalena Burgada y Vallsmadella.

On the façade, the lower section is divided into three vertical bays separated by pilasters, while on the upper floor the separation is replaced by a slight projection of the central bay. At the bottom there are small relief rosettes and delicate vertical ornamentation. The excellent door has two large wooden leaves with interesting geometric motifs, all crowned by a semicircular arch that is ennobled by a radial decoration forming ovals.

On the upper part of the façade stands out a series of windows closed by magnificent wooden shutters which in the central bay open onto a balcony supported by corbels. 

The building acquires a notable presence in the environment in which it stands.
